Why doesn't God intervene and put out this fire for pete's sake?

God loves us but many people will not ask him for help. God has never in the bible not even Noah's day did he intervene unless someone asked him to. He will not impose his will on us without our consent. When he does come to do this, it will be the last time and anyone who is not under the blood of Jesus will be destroyed with the bad things on this earth.
