This random girl at school thinks im weird should I care?

this girl in college really thinks im a creepy but really im not. But i guess its my fault for giving her that impression. Here it goes, one day I was in the dining hall I was really stressed out with school and other stuff and I usually daydream when I'm stressed. So turns out the whole time i was staring off into space my eyes were inadvertently fixed on this one girl at the other end of the room but I wasnt staring at her I was staring through her If you get what i mean . Anyways to cut a long story short. She thought I was wierd told all her friends, she started avoiding me then a friend suggested to her that I may have a crush on her so she eventually she developed a crush on me, and started flirting with me from a distance. I DONT LIKE HER IN THAT WAY so I made an effort not to look at her anymore. I guess she got hurt and her friend told her I was just a creepy pervert afteralI. I have never spoken to the girl yet i know all these things are 90% accurate because I am an expert at reading body language. Anyways should I care that she and her friends see me as the weird creepy guy on CAMPUS that they must avoid at all cost??? Or should I just move on and dont give a **** what the girls think ??
