How can I scroll down through subjects or senders in the inbox without opening up every E-mail as I go?

I don't know what email program you use, but most of them have a setting for a preview screen that is usually on by default. Look in View/Layout or Tools/Options (or whatever you have similar) to turn it off. (This is in Outlook Express and Windows Mail.)
