Moving from large house w/ backyard to apartment w/ no backyard. Tips for settling our dog in?

Moving from a large house with back yard, to a flat with NO yard.!!! And poor dog already showing behavior problems with barking. She will freak out MORE now having no back yard. That is cruel to me, and you can fully expect the dog to play up more with this added stress.
