Is it understandable that some Christians are still mad at Darwin et al for inadvertently disproving Genesis?

darwin himself admitted and tried to refute his own theories on evolution as inconclusive and unscientific, but by then it was too late. secularist groups took ahold of his theories and forcefully passed them up as facts. he admitted that there was far more evidence for the existance of a logical, intelligent designer than for an "evolving universe" theory based on circular reasoning.
