8 month old, shorkie, 6 months to live? Help.?

My yorkie/ Shih tzu mix is 8 months old,Female . She has been diagnosed with Liver and Kidney disease, what can I do about this? My Vet here told me that she could die up to 6 months from now or 5 years. Help??!
